"Nuanneq Niperput" is a well known Greenlandic children's song inspired by a traditional Sami joik. In the documentary, the filmmaker embarks on a journey to discover the origin of the song, tracing it back to the Sami community. Through this search, they uncover the story of a Sami singer whose personal joik inspired the Greenlandic song. The film explores the cultural exchange between the Sami and Inuit of  Kalaallit Nunaat, highlighting the universal language of song that connects different indigenous communities.
